This will help my decision-making process for my PhD programme; I've got other variables under control, but in terms of brand name, I'm not sure: which is better?

A voté ! (parce que j'aime voter) mais arbitraire, et une fois n'est pas coutume, patriotique. Aussi parce que je regrette parfois un peu de ne pas avoir été à Sciences Po au lieu de me spécialiser dans la glande. Mais je suppose que ça dépend quand même du contenu des cursus et des enseignants !

I voted for Sciences Po :) I haven't heard anything about the University of York... hope that helps!
York is really good for economics, so I'd go there if that's what you want to study - but I guess Sciences Po is better known at least in Europe. I do like York though, I lived near there for 5 years so I'm biased, but it's a friendly place!
Du point de vue cursus, enseignants, etudiants, conditions de vie, conditions financieres, etc - j'ai plus ou moins integre tout ca dans mon processus de decision. Je voulais surtout connaitre la perception du reste du monde vis-a-vis ces deux ecoles..

Actually, my opinion that it's depending on where u wanna work at the end (which takes me back to your TV's channel Blog).
I know that u r taking into consideration the cursus,but at the end if u r going to stay in the States, I think Sc. Po. won't do any good. And Vice Versa.
So take the things from its end point.
P.S.: I tried to call u in Egypt and currently j'ai aucune idée Ou est tu ? et que est ce tu a fais aux frontières

I voted for York. Because I am not that much into French schools. Old story though... Don't ask!

The results as they stand are
71% for Sciences-Po
5% for U of York
24% for "I never heard of either school!"
which, to me, is quite an unexpected result! :)
Will let you know what I end up deciding. :)
