I once realised that, even when I find an interesting channel, I still zap between a couple dozen other channels to see if I can find something better. Even if I know that any other programme won’t be better, only different. I still zap.
The problem is, it also applies to many other things in my life. Books. People. Jobs. Even PhD programmes, for fuck’s sake.
Zap, zap, zap.
I decided to stop doing that. Will try. I will stop at the first interesting channel I see, and fight that stupid urge to keep changing channels anyway.

Don't we all function with lists dear?
I LOVE THIS POST.
As someone who also functions that way, I keep telling myself that I shouldn't settle for less.
You can always go back to that previous channel, I guess. :)
But between settling and being content, where do you draw the line? Because at some level, you are always settling for something, since there's always something more interesting.
Plus it's never sure the previous channel will take you back.. :)
i DO THE SAME !!!! it is interesting but exhausting .
Glad to know I'm not the only one!
it's not about finding the best channel moe,... it's only about finding the channel that suites U the best.. the longer u stay with it the more interesting the programme gets... and yes, the previous channel will never take u back...
Maysam,
But it's terribly hard! Because you'll somehow always ask yourself if there's something more interesting on the other channel.. :)
Good point about the previous channel 'not taking you back', though.
seriously...?!! but don't u get attached to details in that channel..?!! its logo.. that happy good morning programme.. the way it does its commercials..
its that kinda simple details that keep u loyal........ FOCUS....
