How I let down Barack when he needed me the most

Barack sent me an email* telling me that I can make a difference for him, and how I can (giggling uncontrollably) "change America".

But then, shame on me, I let him down. And now, it's all over the media:

He also sent me some hate email, which I cannot publish because I'm trying to maintain a certain level of decency here.

Seriously, don't you LOVE the elections in the US? Ah, wouldn't it be cool if we had some 'round here too...

* email is from the Obama-Biden campaign. I am on their mailing list, patriotic as I am.

The Obama mailing list is sending you hate mail? All I ever get is messages from Michelle and Joe hitting me up for $10 or more. A little variation would be nice.

LMAO -- that was very funny. Ah, I already voted... I plan to do a small experiment on election day.. how long I can last without knowing who won. I don't have a TV here and I will stay away from the internet. :)
I am afraid that we (the USA) can really screw this one...

Looks like we're going to have some here soon...I think you should register and vote in the US elections---why not? Everybody else in the world is doing it {grin}.

Grapes - it's almost over. One way or another, we'll get off these mailing lists, we will!

Vertigo: yey, well done! I doubt your experiment will last long though. As soon as the results are announced, you'll get text messages from home, emails, will see joyful (or sad) facebook statuses, and will be dragged in endless discussions about the results at school... :)

aliyah06: I would've loved to vote this year.. I did give the dude money, after all. As (future) president of the US, he should give me the right to vote. Dammit.
(and I would also like to vote for the next Knesset elections. I'd vote Shas, i love their beards.)
