Christian advertisement on Yediot Aharonot

I'm fairly sure a large segment of the Jewish readership of Yediot Aharonot, Israel's biggest newspaper, wouldn't be very excited to receive Christian proselytism advertisements in their news..
Well, they just did, on this page.

I once wrote about a racist advertisement on Haaretz. I guess this is further proof that the people in charge of the advertising departments there either a) can't read English or b) are so cash-strapped they'll take anything!

Good stuff, have you ever seen the one on Haaretz which flashes neon "Have Jewish babies" ? It's quite something.... I'll look out for it and try and get you a screenshot.

Hey Tom, good to read you -
I have seen it.. if I'm not mistaken it's actually the same website that placed the racist advertisement I am linking to in the end of the post..

Hi Mohamed, This is a Google Ad, this means that it would be displayed in accordance to the content of the page. Since, the page contains the words rabbi, religious .... We have been targeted with this ad. Anyway, they can ban it if they are interested.

"I Want To Become A God's Children" is a Google Ad? I guess this means that Google ads are written by idiots, regardless of race, creed, or sexual identity.

Khaled -
There must be a level of control on what may or may not be displayed on a website, no? What if it violates the ethics of the newspapers or such? I'm sure there's a system in place...

True that. :)
