This man had the most impressive official title ever

"His Excellency, President for Life, Field Marshall Al Hadji Dr. Idi Amin, VC, DSO, MC, Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Sea, and Conqueror of the British Empire in Africa in General and Uganda in Particular."

Holy shit. Talk about narcissism.

PS - If you haven't seen "The Last King of Scotland", you should.

I agree. That film was amazing, and the actor who played Idi Amin deserved an Oscar.

"Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Sea" it made me think of Adam... anyways, it would suck to do a job application with that name :)

They missed the birds of the sky, but otherwise, I agree, great title.

"Lord of... Fishes of the Sea"

Made all the better in that Uganda has no coastline! Not to the ocean, at any rate... :D

I'm trying to reconcile the idea that someone is a 'Hadji' and yet refers to himself as the 'Lord of all the ... yada yada."

Just more proof that going on Hajj doesn't make someone a good person.

I think I remember snorting when someone referred to Mubarak as "el Hagg Mohamed".

Totally off topic, I know.

El hagg Mohamed reminds me of the old man who sold ice cream down my street.

Adam - excellent comment, I didn't think of that!!
