I am currently at the field hospital in Tahrir square (a new makeshift clinic by the Franciscaine school across from the museum) and these are the supplies they are in dire need of. QUICK. it is now 11 am. They want the stuff. ASAP before the thugs attack again.
Medical gauze
Vaseline gauze (for burns)
Burn ointment
Surgical suture needle and thread
Saline solution
Bandages
Surgical gloves
Local zilocane (local anesthetic)
Antibiotics
Analgesics (pain killers)
Get that. Fast.

If I were there, I would do anything I could to help. I hope that all of you in Tahrir Square can feel the support of millions around the world who are hoping and praying for you, and pressuring their governments, and rallying for your cause. Please be safe, and stay strong.

Parting sarcastic thought, regarding Obama: he's such an investment banker/Goldman Sachs kind of guy, covered in rhetoric; he only "cares" for the economy. If being beaten/killed/disappeared is bad for the Egyptian economy (tourists are not wild about it) and the eternally invoked stability then he's against it/them. Don't expect much from him or Hillary, other than rhetoric and advertising.
